OUR LUMBER
RED & WHITE PINE - AVAILABLE GREEN, AIR-DRYED AND KILN DRIED AND/OR HEAT TREATED
Our main commodities of red pine are 4×4 and 6×6 squares which are sold primarily into the pressure-treated market. When consumers purchase squares from retail outlets, there is a strong chance those squares are a product of Ben Hokum & Son Limited.
All squares are sorted with one length per lift, in the following lengths: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 feet. We can also accommodate special orders. Annually, we produce 6″x 8″ and 8″x 8″ sawn-to-order sizes.
Additional sawing sizes include:
4/4″ thickness includes 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″widths.
6/4″ thickness includes 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ widths.
8/4″ thickness include 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ widths.
Market uses include pallets and crating material, flooring, paneling and framing. We also provide special orders as our mill is small enough to allow us to adapt and integrated special sizing easily, but large enough that we can produce adequate quantities. We provide green or air-dried lumber.
